Buru Energy announced that it has entered into a heritage protection agreement with the Yungngora Community and the Noonkanbah People in relation to its 100% exploration permit application L10-7 in the southern extension of the Valhalla area of the Canning Superbasin. This is the first of three heritage protection agreements the Company is negotiating with the Traditional Owners of this area, and is a significant step towards enabling the formal grant of L10-7 as an exploration permit. Negotiations for heritage protection agreements with each of the other two native title groups that hold native title interests over the L10-7 area are also currently being progressed. Completion of the agreements with these two parties will lead to the exploration permit being granted and on-ground work commencing.
