AWE provided its June 2012 quarterly activities report, reporting Perth Basin shale gas and tight gas hydraulic stimulation campaign started subsequent to the end of the quarter with the hydraulic stimulation of the first zone in the Arrowsmith-2 well completed; significant progress was made on engineering and planning for the AAL Project in Indonesia, with a final investment decision planned for early 2013; and Sugarloaf production increased with drilling activity at record levels. The Company also reported it completed the refinancing of a $300m multicurrency loan facility which will provide added flexibility to support growth initiatives; and the Atlas-1 exploration well was drilled in the quarter - the well encountered high levels of carbon dioxide and was plugged and abandoned.
