Discovery Metals announced first inferred mineral resources of 12.9Mt @ 1.3% Cu and 22g/t Ag for the Zeta NE deposit. Zeta NE is located in the Boseto Zone of the Kalahari Copperbelt in NW Botswana. The mineral resources have been estimated over approximately 5km strike and to approximately 300m depth (the mineralisation remains open at depth). It includes a higher grade zone (>1.5% Cu) with a strike length of approximately 1km which remains open at depth. The company is currently progressing studies to expand capacity and extend the life of the Boseto operation, and the Zeta NE mineral resources are expected to form part of this Boseto growth plan.
