Sundance Energy Australia announced that on 31 December 2012 in the US, the company closed the acquisition of approximately 2,300 net mineral acres in the heart of the Wattenberg Field, bringing the company's Wattenberg holdings to approximately 4,500 net acres. The acquired assets are currently producing approximately 25 boepd and are well located for company operated development and production of proved reserves from multiple stacked pay zones including the Sussex, Shannon, Niobrara, Codell, Greenhorn, and J Sand formations. The company will initially target vertical development of the acquired assets.
