Charlie joined BondAdviser in 2018 as an Analyst and is an integral part of the Investment Research team where he conducts fundamental analysis and develops financial models on debt securities. This research on corporates and financial institutions, who are active issuers in debt capital markets, is a key part of the overall BondAdviser research offering. He also covers research on fixed income funds, including Listed Investment Trusts (LITs), where Charlie focuses on counterparty risk and valuation.
Charlie is valued by our Advisory clients for his diligent and proactive coverage of their portfolios. He believes over the longer term that strategic asset allocation is the primary driver of returns and firmly believes in the role that fixed income plays in a balanced portfolio.
Charlie graduated from The University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance and Accounting), where, as a resident of Queen’s College he was Treasurer of the Inter-Collegiate Sports Council. Charlie previously held Summer Analyst roles at Credit Suisse and Fordham Group and is a Chartered Financial Analyst Level 2 Candidate.
