Its shares listed on the Shanghai Exchange and the Hong Kong Exchange in 2000 and 2009, respectively. CMBC positions itself as a bank for non-state-owned enterprises, micro- and small enterprises, and high-end retail customers. The bank has a diversified shareholding structure, with over 23,000 banking outlets in 125 cities in China.
