We have recently upgraded our account security.

You may need to reset your password to conform with our stricter password-security requirements.

Note: when you reset your password, you should receive an email from us. If you don't receive the email immediately please check your Junk/Spam folder.

To reset your password, make sure you first sign-out of Morningstar Investor.

Then take the following steps:

Go to the Morningstar Investor Sign-In page.

 

 

Step 1. From the Sign In to Morningstar screen, click the "Forgot password?" link:

Step 2. Type your email address into the box provided:

email address

 

Step 3. Check your inbox for the "Reset Your Password" email from Morningstar, and click the button (note: please check your Junk/Spam folder if you don't receive the email immediately):

Rest password email

 

Step 4. Enter your new password, following the instructions provided:

Step 5. Close this next window, then sign-in to Morningstar.

Success

 

Step 6. Go to the Morningstar Investor Sign-In page and log-in with your new password
