John Likos, CFA
is director of investment management at BondAdviser.
As Director of Investment Management, John is responsible for the development of BondAdviser’s Asset Management business where he is able to leverage his many years of experience in fixed income and credit portfolio management and analytics.
John is focused on delivering optimal solutions and returns for clients and understands the importance of fixed income within the overall asset allocation process. Furthermore, John has been recognised for his ongoing commitment to educating clients about the varying risks and returns across the different layers of the capital structure.
John has over 20 years of experience in financial markets across Australia and the United Kingdom. He started his career in the graduate program of PricewaterhouseCoopers before moving to London to work in various fixed income roles across Mondrian Investment Partners, Abbey National and Deutsche Bank. Upon returning to Australia, John worked within the fixed income team of National Australia Bank.
Most recently, John was a Director of Equity and Credit Research at Morningstar Australasia, focusing on listed debt products and a range of equities as well as the management of several analysts covering financials and REITs.
John has a Bachelor of Economics from Flinders University, a Bachelor of Laws from Adelaide University, a Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment at FINSIA and is a CFA Charterholder. John is RG146 compliant.
