Its operating segments include Kagem Mining Limited, its emerald and beryl mine, in Zambia, Africa; Montepuez Ruby Mining Limitada, its ruby and corundum mine, in Mozambique, Africa; Development assets comprises exploration activities in Africa and projects in Ethiopia and Madagascar; Corporate, and Others. It derives the majority of the revenue from the Kagem segment.
