Sylvania Platinum Ltd is a South Africa-based producer of platinum group metals (PGMs), including platinum, palladium and rhodium, and an emerging chrome producer. Its core business comprises the retreatment of PGM-rich chrome tailings through the Sylvania Dump Operations (SDO). The company operates through the Sylvania Dump Operations, Exploration Projects and Joint Venture segments. Through the Thaba Joint Venture, it processes run-of-mine ore and historical chrome tailings to produce PGM and chrome concentrates. The company also holds mining rights for PGM projects on the Northern Limb of the Bushveld Igneous Complex. Geographically, it generates the majority of its revenue from South Africa.
