Business description
ResMed makes continuous positive airway pressure devices and the masks used to treat obstructive sleep apnea, a condition in which the airway repeatedly collapses during sleep. Devices make up about half of revenue, masks and accessories close to 40%, and residential care software the remainder. Growth depends on diagnosing more of the large untreated sleep apnea population and moving them onto therapy. The Americas contribute about two-thirds of device and mask revenue, with most of the rest from Europe, Japan, and Australia.
