Business description
Ovintiv is an independent oil and gas producer focused on Canada’s Montney and the US’ Permian basins. Historically, it has been an acquisitive producer across numerous basins and plays but has divested and exited all but two. It remains an active buyer in the remaining footprint. The firm estimates that it has up to 20 and 15 years of inventory remaining in the Montney and Permian basins, respectively.
