Most projects and revenue come from Korea, but the company has a strong sales presence in the Middle East and Africa. It constructs plants and refineries for gas, waste and water treatment, and other industrial components. Also, the company builds offices, manufacturing facilities, and housing developments for both the public and private sectors. GS E&C operates in four business sectors: architecture business, infrastructure, pant, and power. Most sales come from the architecture business and plant sectors, and projects in these areas tend to be large, complex, with components of building automation.
