MEMSCAP SA is a supplier of solutions based on microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) technology, which combines mechanical, optical, electromagnetic, thermal, and fluidic elements with electronics on semiconductor substrates. Its products include aerospace and defense, medical and biomedical, and optical communications solutions. Its three business areas are Avionics and Medical, which designs and manufactures multifunctional pressure sensors and measurement systems for the aerospace and medical sectors; Optical Communications, which designs and markets variable optical attenuators (VOAs) for optical communications markets through a fabless organization; and Dermocosmetics, which operates and manages the Group's assets related to dermatology and cosmetology, including the Ioma brand.
