  Deutsche Lufthansa AG is a diversified European aviation group operating through three main segments: passenger airlines, logistics, and maintenance, repair and overhaul. The passenger airlines segment includes Lufthansa German Airlines, SWISS, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, Eurowings, Discover Airlines, Lufthansa City Airlines, and Air Dolomiti, as well as the group’s 50% interest in SunExpress. Lufthansa also holds a 41% stake in ITA Airways and has exercised its option to acquire a further 49% for EUR 325 million, increasing its ownership to 90% upon the transaction’s expected closing in the first quarter of 2027, subject to regulatory approval.
