AMP, originally established as the Australian Mutual Provident Society, is a financial services provider in Australia and New Zealand, headquartered in Sydney, Australia. The firm delivers a variety of offerings, including wealth platforms, superannuation and investment products, and financial advice, along with banking services like home loans and savings accounts through AMP Bank. Previously, AMP had a global investment management division under its subsidiary, AMP Capital, which managed a range of asset classes; as well as an insurance business, AMP Life. These businesses were subsequently sold to various institutions as part of AMP's simplification program.
