Eagle Point Credit Co Inc. is an externally managed, non-diversified closed-end management investment company. Its primary investment objective is to generate high current income, with a secondary objective of capital appreciation. The Company seeks to achieve its investment objectives by investing in equity and junior debt tranches of collateralized loan obligations ("CLOs") collateralized by a portfolio consisting of below-investment-grade U.S. senior secured loans with a large number of distinct underlying borrowers across various industry sectors. The Company intends to operate to qualify to be taxed as a regulated investment company.
