Business description
Nipro Corp develops medical devices, most of which are related to dialysis and artificial organs. The firm is divided into three segment: Medical segment sells medical devices related to injections and infusions, artificial organs, high-performance devices, and dialysis, as well as pharmaceuticals related to diabetes, generics, and kit formulations in Japan and overseas; Pharmaceutical segment handles the consignment sales of pharmaceuticals from pharmaceutical companies, including containers for kit formulations; and Pharmaceutical Packaging handles glass for medical use in Japan, including glass for vials and ampoules, and glassware. Nipro generates the majority of its revenue in Japan, while it also has its presence in America, Europe and Asia.
