The Trust’s investment strategy comprises three key components: firstly, to lease a largely vacant office building despite current weak tenant demand in the office leasing market; secondly, to explore the staged development of approximately 491 residential units on parts of the site, subject to necessary approvals and market demand; and thirdly, to assess alternative future uses of the property, particularly the existing office building, where these may offer superior financial returns compared to the base case office leasing strategy.
