RQI forms a universe of smaller Australian companies based on accounting measures, giving a value tilt. Factors such as quality, near-term value, momentum and sentiment apply to form a final portfolio of companies. The resulting portfolio has a value tilt relative to the benchmark and is lower in cost and turnover and highly diversified compared to active strategies. By weighting the portfolio based on accounting measures and factors RQI aims to generate higher returns vs the benchmark over the long term. The option doesn't hedge currency.
