The option is actively managed using a dynamic approach to asset allocation. The strategic asset allocation aims to have exposure to 50% growth assets and 50% defensive assets. The strategy is designed to provide a funding source for medium term cashflow requirements. The option has a primary objective to preserve capital over a rolling three-year period and a secondary objective to exceed a return of CPI+2.0% per annum over this period, after fees and before taxes.
